New baseball uniforms for the Junior AA Lac-St-Louis Tigers with the help of Pure plomberie
The sponsorship will allow the Lac St-Louis Tigers Junior AA team which is comprised of west island baseball players age 18-22,to wear for the 1st time white uniforms for their local games. Their new threads are decorated with the company’s logo.
Pure Plomberie owner (Charles-Alexis Masse) a former junior baseball himself is extremely happy to be able to support the organization and commends their management staff. I’ve seen these young men play at Pierrefonds’ George-Springate baseball park for yearsand wondered, how can I give them a hand. These guys play for the love of the game I too enjoyed and still do, so when I was asked to get involved, I did not hesitate! The team recently invited me to pre-game a batting practice, it reminded me that hitting a curve ball is much more difficult than it looks like!”
”Furthermore and on a more serious note, the 19 players on the roster are full-time students that pay to play their favorite sport, they deserve to be supported and encouraged.” Team members of the 2022 edition that play Québec junior AA baseball league, are all currently enrolled in local cegeps: André-Laurendeau, John-Abbott and Dawson, most of them continue playing fall-ball for their school (RSEQ baseball league).
Some are currently completing the GED while team veterans (3rd & 4thyear players) also study full-time at Concordia, université de Montréal, Polytechnique and McGill; for them as well, baseball is a passion that is pursued through participation in their university varsity teams.
The Lact St-Louis Tigers’ uniforms were loosely inspired by the MLB’s St-Louis Cards’ traditional logo but respect the local AA organisation’ colors: navy, white and orange. The Pure plomberie logo can be found on the right sleeve. On the pictures, two of the team’s veterans accompany our owners next to our advertising, showcased during the Tigers’ home games.
For Pure plomberie, this sponsorship is all about paying it forward and helping out the local community that in turn, has been supporting the business (founded in Pierrefonds in 2010) whenever their residential or commercial plumbing needs repairs. In the winter of 2020, when everyone was going through the 1st wave of lockdown, Pure plomberie went ahead and supported College Beaubois’ outdoor rink to help get our youth out of the house, off the couch and skating!
We hope that our west island customers will support the team and their local athletes on the diamond weekly with playball ! being yeld out on most Sunday evenings 7h30pm in Pierrefonds.
